Classic First Flush is an authentic and traditional Darjeeling tea from the high elevations of the Gopaldhara Tea Estate. The low temperature experienced during winters gives this tea a very well-defined, smooth character. The first flush yields 100% growing shoots and excellent buds with either a single leaf or two leaves and a bud. This tea has a traditional Darjeeling fresh flavor with a prominent flowery character. It is very light on the palate with a sweet and smooth, clean leather flavor. The tea has a very strong and pronounced aftertaste that lingers on for quite some time.
